Patent Analytics Course Using Patent Vector

Innovation Partners and the School of Innovation are excited to announce a free self-paced course in patent analytics using Patent Vector. Texas A&M University is the only university to have FREE access to Patent Vector! This course will guide you through the web-based program to analyze patents, technology, and innovation trends. Patent Vector not only provides users with access to viewing thousands of patents from across the globe, but also provides tools to analyze the importance and impact of the patent, the assignees, and the inventors. Available to all faculty, staff and students.

Texas A&M School of Innovation and Innovation Partners are proud to announce a collaboration with Tech Transfer Central to bring you over 400 distance learning modules ABSOLUTELY FREE! What better way to use some extra time than to learn how to maximize your research in a stress-free, self-paced environment. To access any of the categories and distance learning for free, watch our “How To” video or simply follow the login instructions below.

- Search for “Tech Transfer Central”
- Select “Tech Transfer Central” from the search results
- Enter your CAS authorization credentials
- Copy or write down the login information
- Click on “Connect to database’s own interface”
- Click on “Subscriber Login” in the upper, right-hand corner

Virtual IP Attorney Office Hours
Standing monthly appointments
Got an intellectual property question? The School of Innovation and Innovation Partners are co-sponsoring IP Attorney Office Hours at no cost to TAMU faculty, staff, and students. Thirty-minute appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis with IP attorneys from firms across Texas including many who contract with the Texas A&M University System to provide legal services for Texas A&M System-owned intellectual property. Make Impact Consortium’s Mobius Portal
Free portal to TAMU resources
The Make Impact Consortium (MIC) is led by the Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT), along with Texas A&M University and seven other Founding Members. The mission of the MIC is to provide tangible resources that speed integration of technology, innovation, making, and entrepreneurship within universities and the technology innovation ecosystems that surround them. Through its status as a founding member, Texas A&M University provides access to Mobius, the Consortium’s mobile-friendly web-based portal that provides information about equipment, makerspaces, and entrepreneurial resources on campus. Mobius allows users the ability to search by machine shop, materials you need to work with, machine type, and machine capabilities. Available to all faculty, staff and students. To access Mobius as a Texas A&M user, simply follow the login instructions below.

- Enter current TAMU email address
- Create a password and confirm to create an account
